Child Care Council of Greater Houston Inc. offers full day year round child care services for children six months to five years. Our Early Child Care center is a Four Star Vendor with the Child Care Management System. We also offer scholarships on a limited basis to assist you with the cost of care. The services also include the Young Learners PreSchool Program for 4 year olds in cooperation with the Houston Independent School District.
Professional and caring staff provides developmentally appropriate education and caring services in a nurturing environment for all age groups. A theme based curriculum along with the individual interests and needs of the children provides the foundation for a variety of creative hands on learning experiences. The program also reflects acceptance and tolerance of all individuals regardless of ethnicity, culture or ability.
Field trips are provided to extend the children's learning and enhance their sense of community. The service also includes nutritious meals and snacks as part of the efforts in fostering healthy food choices.
Parents are considered the child's first teacher and a very important partner in the education of the child bridging the gap between the center and home. Additionally, we offer various opportunities for parents to volunteer, or to train for an employment opportunity as permanent staff.
