Media Literacy in the Garden

What a Beautiful Classroom

Some students documented the rainwater harvesting system on Garden Oaks environmentally focused campus, while others chose to explore their own imaginations for content that would illustrate how gravity affects the water cycle. Every entry includes Words, Images, and Symbols, to express the students ideas or observations. When encouraged inspiration strikes, the science notebook/journal is also the right setting for Emergent concepts, new project ideas.

We all appreciated working in the gorgeous out-of-doors!
