Child Care Council of Greater Houston Inc. operates after-school programs.  Each program site is setup and operated according to the national accreditation criteria established by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs - a division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Our goal for the Neighborhood Network After-School Program is to promote a nurturing environment that stimulates each child's ability to interact positively with adults and peers, while appropriately utilizing leisure time.

The Program includes:

• Staff trained specially to work in After-School Programs

• Varied age-appropriate materials and activities

• Adults who respond to children as individuals

• Healthy and safe environments

• Nutritious snacks

• Ongoing parental communication

• Effective administration and evaluation

• Nurturing environments that foster positive emotional, physical, social and cognitive development
