NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The
City of Houston anticipates receiving grant funds from the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) Program to implement various public services.
Child Care Council of Greater Houston, Inc., is accepting proposals from
non-profit organizations for the provision of the following services:
Child
Care Program services
- to expand child care services, provide parental development training and
information regarding other family support services
Juvenile
Delinquency Prevention Program services
- to reduce and prevent juvenile delinquency by providing services focusing on
character development and life skills for youth.
Emergency Shelter
Grants Program services
- to reduce and prevent homelessness and provide support services needed to
assist homeless individuals.

All agencies
submitting proposals for CDBG funds must
be registered 501(c)(3).
·
The Contract
term is twelve months beginning August 1, 2008.
· Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available to the public, weekdays, beginning October 16, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Child Care Council offices and by download at www.cccghi.com

Proposals
must be completed as instructed in the RFP and submitted to Child Care Council
by December 14, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.

above activities will be conducted at Child Care Council, 6220 Westpark, Suite
150, Houston, Texas 77057.
